Consider Aboriginal Workers
Aboriginal youth are the most under employed of the youth population yet are the most enthusiastic to learn employment skills.
Aboriginal workers are energetic, ambitious and have essential workplace skills that will benefit and contribute to enhancement of your company/organization.
Hiring an aboriginal worker through the Prince George Nechako Aboriginal Employment & Training Association’s Aboriginal Employment Gateway saves time and recruitment costs. In some instances wages can be supported through a targeted wage subsidy program.
Prince George has an aboriginal population of 13% of the total population.¹
Aboriginal populations are rising at a rate 1.5 times greater that Canada’s mainstream population and at least 40% of Aboriginal people are under 25 years.²
